The woman, in her thirties, was stylishly dressed and clearly well-off, pushing a wheelchair. The man in the wheelchair was in his forties, thin and looked rather listless.
When the woman saw Blair, her eyes lit up with admiration.
Then she noticed Ethan on the wheelchair, a handsome young man, and her gaze lingered on him for a few moments before she looked away.
Ethan pursed his lips, deducing from their actions that they were a couple.
"Even with her husband in a wheelchair, she's still checking out other guys. Doesn't seem like the type to sit still," he muttered.
Blair, pushing his wheelchair, brushed past them.
Just as they passed the man in the wheelchair, a notification popped up in front of Ethan: "Severely ill individual detected. Accept end-of-life commission?"
"Huh?" Ethan blinked, then said to Blair, "Hold up, let's take a different path for our walk."
Blair nodded and turned the wheelchair around.
