On his way to his office, Jie stopped at his secretary's desk and spoke to her, "I need the dossier on one of our former employees. An intern named Ye Xian, get it sent immediately to me."
"Right away sir." She answered and immediately started working on his errand.
He went into his office while Liling followed closely behind him and shut the door before turning to her cousin.
"I don't understand what is going on with you but you have to start acting like a man and fix all of this or else Natzin will overrun us all."
She was disgusted by her cousin's calm reaction. She had expected that he would call the police and have her kicked out of the company, humiliating her would teach her not to mess with them anymore.
But even after she had humiliated him and stolen their staff he still treated Natzin politely. She could not understand his behavior, it was odd for someone who supposedly hated her. Or could it be that he did not really hate her.
