When Leila returned to the Campbell home, the next couple of weeks passed without incident. Charlotte intended to hold the party for Amelia immediately, but the matter was postponed.
Amelia wanted the party to be held after finishing her apprenticeship with Edgar Farrell, just before she left for the university. In simple terms, she wanted to leave Lake City at the peak of her youthful life.
Leila did not think much about the matter. She established a routine even though she was much busier than usual. She continued working at Farrell Motors, but she reduced the number of hours she spent there.
The project was almost done with Elliot preparing to complete the prototype. Since it was a unique project, the production was being prioritised and rushed. Of course, the prototype would not be sold in the general market.
