When Leila returned to her apartment, she found Phoebe packing up to leave. She was a little surprised that her friend was returning to the Capital City so soon after finally getting a break. She expected her to stay for at least a week.
"There is a problem with the materials supply," Phoebe explained with a sigh. "My assistant can coordinate it, but I will feel better once I check it myself. I cannot afford to have low-quality materials ruin the brand."
Leila understood the level of care required in production.
She was reluctant to start a company and opted to be a freelance consultant because she knew her mind and personality were not meticulous enough for that kind of thing. She was easily distracted and did not pay attention to some details.
If she started a company, she would have to pay attention to small details like contracts, finances, and public relations. She was certain she would forget something and end up ruining everything.
