Seraphina's ghost was still in a bad state because of the dispelling talisman Xavier used to get rid of it. The talisman's power would have exorcised him if he were an ordinary ferocious spirit. Luckily, he used to be a cultivator.
Still, it took a moment to recover and find Seraphina.
"Speak!" Seraphina ordered again as she looked at the old man with an ashen face and dark marks on the face.
"There was a visitor at the mansion after you left. He is not a cultivator, but he is powerful and used a talisman to dispel me when I was about to kill the girl," The ghost said in a guttural voice.
Seraphina was startled. A visitor? Why would Cornelius not tell her about it and hide it from her? Ever since she joined the household, she was in charge of accepting the guests, regardless of their identities.
