The Campbell family was uneventful. Isaiah and Charlotte did not ask Leila how she knew Callum and Sterling after the party. They wanted to make connections, but they did not want to push Leila too hard. She proved to know enough powerful people to be beneficial.
At first, when she came into their home, they were tolerating her because they could not get rid of her. The Lawson grandparents would be angry if they knew they did not obey and take care of the girl while she was in Lake City.
In addition, they had to be considerate about Silas Campbell. He was the one who connected them to Leila and the investment Isaiah got for his company about twenty years ago. They always knew he would come back to claim Leila.
If they pushed Leila and she left, it would be a great loss. After some consideration, they decided to treat her well and make her feel like part of the family. Perhaps, they would also benefit from her connections.
