Leila felt comfortable with Callum and Sterling, so she decided to sit with them instead of finding Edgar Farrell. It did not make much of a difference where she sat down since she had already conveyed her good intentions to the old man.
While she wanted to annoy the Campbells, Leila wanted to keep a good relationship with the Farrells since she would be working with them. She did not want to leave a bad impression on Edgar because she knew his teacher.
After deciding to stay with the two guys, Leila sent him a quick message in case he was still waiting for her.
In another room, Edgar sighed as he acknowledged the message. He was still disappointed that he could not claim Leila as a nominal disciple. However, he still hoped that Elliot would have the opportunity to get closer to Leila as they worked on the new car model together.
