Leila and her adoptive grandparents had discussed at length what happened to her in the past, and they came to the same conclusion. Whoever was behind Charlotte and Isaiah did not want to lose track of Leila.
There seemed to be a deliberate plan.
"My adoptive grandparents thought so." Leila lowered her head. "I was not planning on looking for my biological family because I do not care about blood ties. But my control over my wolf has become weaker lately, so I have to find help from those who understand what I am going through."
"I was afraid of hurting my grandparents or the other villagers when I lost control. Also, I think that someone might have found out about me. There were rumours about a strange wolf, and some strangers were discovered near the village." Leila continued.
