Leila looked at Amelia's jealous face with amusement. Ultimately, Amelia was not noble in her self-righteousness and did not care about her grandparents. She was only interested in the material possessions.
It made her a feeble opponent.
"You should also know I do not care about something minor like learning from Edgar Farrel," Leila said casually. "I have already promised to back down and let you have this opportunity. You should grasp it well and try to build a stable life."
Leila looked at Amelia with mocking eyes. Amelia felt small as everything she believed was shattered. She wanted to keep thinking that Leila was jealous of her, but it was clear she did not have anything Leila needed.
Unless Leila was a psycho, she had no reason to even care about her. It was deeply frustrating to know that Leila was standing at the top. Yet, she did not deserve anything she had, including the love and the money from her grandparents.
