As Winston left Seth's house, the rest were arriving at the Citadel. Leila and Xavier arrived first, but they did not go to the party. Instead, Xavier pulled Leila to the woods opposite the gothic building.
Leila did not know what was wrong until Xavier touched the ears that sprouted on her head. She flicked them with annoyance and moved her tail with irritation as she realised, she had an uncontrolled shift.
"It is all right," Xavier said, sensing her mood. "The full moon is a supermoon, so it is expected that you will have a bit of an issue. Winston will teach you how to improve when you are free."
Leila still pouted. "It would be fine if I could not turn into this form."
"You are not allowed to say that," Xavier tapped her nose. "But despite how beautiful this form is, it might be dangerous for you if you are seen like this. You can shift into your full wolf, and I will watch over you."
