Ghost King Mansion
The next morning, Leila woke up late.
She was used to staying up late, but the complications with her transformation during the full moon must have taken a toll on her. In addition, she slept late after helping Xavier choose a room to sleep.
Since she was already late, Leila took her time getting ready for the day. Usually, she kept it simple when she was in Ghost City because of playing around with her friends. However, she chose an ancient dress for the day.
The Ghost King was a little old-fashioned and would often commission ancient-style clothes that would make one recall the golden age of martial arts. They were beautiful but still flexible enough for movement.
As Leila looked at herself in the red dress in the mirror, she realised that she rarely bought clothes for herself. She was not even sure what she would choose if she had to depend on herself for fashion.
