Xavier frowned as he felt the air in the valley. The atmosphere felt a little bit cleaner even though the death energy was still lingering. At least, it would not pose a threat to humans who might wander into the area.
Of course, the likelihood of someone stumbling into Death Valley was low. It was an isolated area and those who knew of it understood it was a taboo area because of the mass grave.
But it was important not to discount the possibility of a lost hiker wandering into the area.
"Are you certain the witches are not a threat?" Xavier asked.
Xavier was powerful, but he was not a witch. He had some understanding of witchcraft, but he could not assess certain issues related to witchcraft. Witches kept their secrets well enough to avoid being at a disadvantage in the Trinity alliance.
Therefore, he had to rely on witches when dealing with complex magic.
