After the leader accepted and the king was satisfied with his answer, the leader turned to glance at Violet yet once again and her eyes narrowed as she met his gaze, wondering what he could be thinking at the time and Xania noticed this and his eyes flickered between the young man and Violet, wondering what was going on with the two and if there was a much more deeper meaning to this than he thought.
They held each other's gaze for a while and Violet's brows furrowed as she tried to figure him out but, unlike the others, he was quite hard to read in her eyes, which only made her a lot more curious as well as cautious about him, for a lot of unpredictable things had been happening in her life lately, and trusting people easily was not an option for her.
