Silas and Thaddeus roamed the streets of Upper Hill as they hunted the remaining members of the Red Brotherhood. Once they had confirmed that all the members had either escaped or been captured by the Peacekeepers, Silas bid Thaddeus goodbye.
"I need to go back to the hotel to confirm Finn's situation," he explained.
"I will be forever grateful to you for helping me at a time like this. I'll contact you once I learn something about the Alchemist."
Silas nodded and started walking towards Velis Hotel. He used the main road and from time to time saw distressed citizens huddled in blankets on the street. They watched him with distant eyes and fear on their faces.
Soon, he reached the boundary between Upper and Lower Hill. A wall of Peacekeepers stood guard, barricading anyone from Lower Hill from entering Upper Hill.
When Silas appeared before them, one of the guards stepped forward and kindly told him to go back to his home.
