Dominic woke up in the middle of the night with a loud noise that disturbed his sleep. Not only him, but even Alexa, who was originally sleeping soundly while hugging Dominic, also opened her eyes because of the commotion. The two quickly rose to their feet. Each of them readied their weapons as Dominic approached the window to see what had just happened.
From the mirror in his room, Dominic could see that the garage door, which was located right next to the house, was currently damaged as if it had just been hit by something. Dominic quickly left the room, followed by Alexa, who followed behind him.
The first place they went was their child's room, which was not far from their room. Dominic carefully opened the door to his son's room, only to find that the room was empty as if it had been abandoned a long time ago.
