"That was quite intense," Bell grinned at me.
"Her and her mate? Or how she mocked the Dragon and the Vampire Courts?" Hanna smiled mischievously. "You look amazing, kid."
I winked, "I always look amazing."
Bell scoffed, "Ugh. You sound like that pest."
"Cosmos?" Hanna asked giggling. "She has his silver tongue."
"Thank you?" I blushed. "You two are looking amazing. And tall. Very, very, very tall. Taller than me, for sure."
"You're short, Hel!" They chuckled together.
I growled, "I am 1.67m. I am not short. I'm average."
"Average in short height," Hanna mocked. "So, is Russell Bloom your biological father?" What? Did I left that impression?
"Yes," I said when there was no one near, as we took another way down to the underground city market. "But my father is Cosmos."
Bell scowled, "You know, he was obsessed with your mom."
Hanna arched her eyebrows, "He was? With Shay?"
Nod, "He was. He never had eyes for anyone else. Blindly in love." Oh, my. She sounds bitter. As if she had just swallowed the worst blood ever and sucked a lemon thinking it was orange. "He was her fan and was in love as if he would die. It was pathetic."
"Oh, my. I had no idea," Hanna giggled.
"Not many had," Bell clicked her tongue. "I know because I was Shay's best friend. She thought it was adorable, but I thought it was idiotic, stupid, and pathetic. So, so, so pathetic. He may look all badass now, but he was ridiculous when she was around, and he broke when she told him she was mated to Russell."
She is definitely in love with him. Old, old, old crush. Bitter one. "He told me that. Superficially not a long time ago."
"Well, he must have been overjoyed that he got to raise you. In a way, he kind of had a daughter of your mom. Even if not by blood," she shrugged. Ah, Bell.
"He wasn't. Not given the circumstances. He didn't know I was my mom's daughter at first, and he told me that when he learned about it, it broke him, but he couldn't do shit except take care of me in the way he did, because Meredith had her talon on his brain."
She tensed up, "She's been manipulating him?"
"For as long as I've been locked up. She needed a strong dog, she forced one on her leash. She needed a stronger one, she got him to give his all to train her new dog," I pointed to myself. "Her mistake is thinking that I'm tamed. Now that he taught everything he could, she's slowly discarding him, all to make me take his place. Also foolish of her," they turned pale.
As we entered the magical underground city market, Moth to the Flame by Swedish House Mafia ft. The Weeknd began to play somewhere up in the speakers. And my jaw dropped as I took in the grandiosity of the city market that just popped magically on the underground of the Castle.
"Shite. It's always like this? This grand?" I covered my mouth.
"Yes," they purred amused at my shock.
"Mia does all this? Every year? Out of nowhere?" Damn, Crone.
"She is powerful," Bell exclaimed amused.
I looked at her, remembering that Mia told that she knew about what she is. "Oh, believe, I know. But it hits different when we see it in front of our eyes. I mean," I pointed at everything, at the world of supernatural people buzzing around. "This is insane."
"It is!" They giggled.
As I had put my phone on my pocket after I landed on the ground, I felt when it buzzed, and I freed my arm that was around Hanna's to take it. Thankfully it wasn't the sound it makes when Oliver texts, or the Circle kids, or my roommates, or the other kids of our teams, since I put a different ring for each of them. And that's precisely why I picked it up.
Micah: I'm free, Hel.
Micah: Is my nymph with you?
Micah: *eye-wide gaze emoji*
Me: Underground City Market.
Micah: I'll be there in a second.
Putting my phone back on my pocket, I grinned mischievously at Hanna who had looked the messages and was ten shades red. "My nymph?" Bell provoked. "I see that you got a Royal Lion on your hook, vodka girl."
That only made Hanna blush harder, "He called me his nymph."
"Hell yeah, he did," I and Belle gave her a naughty look.
"Oh, yes, he also said he's had a crush on you for ages," I added. "He pretty much freaked out when I told him I got him a date with you. You should have seen it. He asked me fifty times if it was true."
Her eyes widened, "No way!"
"All the way," Bell flashed her fangs. "Get him on your submarine girl. That one is hot. He must be head over heels for you!"
"Oh my Goddesses, oh my Goddesses, oh my Goddesses."
"Don't freak out," I crossed her arm on mine again. "It'll be fine."
"He for real likes me?" She squeaked.
"He definitely does!" We exclaimed.
Her jaw dropped, "I've never gone this far. It's always one-sided!"
"I know how that feels," Bell mocked and looked away bitterly. "But enjoy the opportunity, vodka girl. Do everything you can possibly imagine while you have time," when she looked at us again, she had a self-deprecating look on her eyes and it broke my heart. "If not, you'll regret!"
As Hanna didn't understood where she was coming from, she took it all lightly, but I didn't. "I will. Oh, my Ladies. I've been dying to take a hot guy like Micah to my bed. Shite, I'm about to claw up the walls with desperation. So many things I want to do to him," naughty.
"I hope I'll be up to that," he purred behind us and Hanna jumped startled, redder than ever. Both me and Bell had felt him though. "It's good to meet you again, Hanna."
"M-M-Micah!" She choked. "I'm not… I'm not like that. I'm sorry, I was just," she turned to me, freaking out.
"Go," I chuckled, pushing her to him. "Just be honest with yourself and with what you want. It'll all work out right if you do that."
{"You should listen to your advices, Wilhelmina!"} Let's ignore.
"Thank you, Hel," Micah beamed, surrounding Hanna's waist with his big hand. "I own you ten times," he winked and turned away with her. "Want to go to my dorm or to your submarine?"
Damn, he's direct.
"Hel, we'll be back for the match!" She exclaimed and turned to him, turning all sensual, "I've always wanted to meet your dorm."
"My dorm it is then, honey," he winked and they left.
Alright. First match successful.
{"We can go to my tower and resolve our problems."}
Problems? I see none, Oliver-Sean.
{"Liar. We have lots of issues to be taken care of, Wilhelmina."}
