Chapter 127 - CXXVII ||| Playing Cupid

That made everyone gasp, though I just laughed amused

"Playing cupid again, darling?" Father asked and I winked at him.

"Don't worry, I'm working on one for you too," then I turned to my phone again, feeling their glares on me, and all the girls and Felix ran to me, probably to see who I was talking to.

Me: That was definitely flirting.

Me: Annndddddd,

Me: *three tambour emojis*

Me: He is totally available.

Hanna: Are you sure?

Me: Yes, yes, yes,

Me: I just asked him, and he said he is.

Hanna: Do you think I have a chance?

Me: Babe, I think you have way more than a chance.

Me: *devilish grin emoji*

Me: I'll introduce you informally to Micah on the festival.

Hanna: I love you kid,

Hanna: *kiss emoji*

Hanna: I've always preferred lions either way.

"This girl," I chuckled loudly. "Micah, I got you a blind date!"

He beamed, "Are you for real?"

Warden Atticus laughed mockingly, "He's been trying for ages."

Micah glared at him, "I don't know how to approach girls."

"She's very easily approachable," I titled my head. "She'll be here for the tournament to see my team kicking Oliver-Sean's and stealing his crown. She's high on the energy and likes vodka."

"Sounds like his old crush," Atticus mocked. "She has a submarine too? Is a water nymph? Blue hair and eyes? Dark sense of humor?"

"Stop, you bastard!" Micah growled embarrassed.

I blinked, "Uh? You mean Hanna?"

"She's not into me," Micah passed his hands on his hair frustrated. "And I don't know how to talk to her either, so, whatever."

That made me burst out laughing, "You're lucky."

He blinked, "How so?"

"I got you a date with Hanna," I chuckled at how his jaw dropped. Not just his, but warden Atticus too. "She just asked me if you're available."

His eyes widened, "Hanna? Hanna is into me?"

"She's beyond that. Happy?" I gave him a naughty look.

"You got me a date with HANNA?" Wow, he's really into her.

Laughing at his outburst, I nodded. "I did, aren't I amazing?"

"Hah, that's my daughter," Cosmos chuckled.

"You got me a date with Hanna? For real?"

"She'll be here for the tournament. She's on the hook, don't mess up, and it'll work just fine," I winked. "I'm a good matchmaker. Who knows if you're not mates?" I looked at my dark green polished nails. "So, don't mess up. She'll be here for seven days, do your magic, make her fall deeply in love with," I turned my eyes to him again, who was still with his jaw on the ground. "I don't think it'll be that hard, since she's already into you!"

"You got me a date with Hanna!" He passed his hands on his face and turned to Elsa. "I'm not going to be single for too long, Elsa!"

And my team member began to laugh at his stupidity, "Awesome?"

"I owe you one. No I owe you ten times, Hel!" He beamed, turning to warden Atticus. "I have a date with Hanna. I have a date with Hanna."

Elsa looked from her uncle to me and we laughed. "Oh my."

"He's giving me golden retriever," Felix mumbled behind me. "So, she's not into my uncle anymore?"

"Nope," then I pointed at my talk with Abellona but didn't opened it. "I'm planning for him to be with her. Don't say the name or he might hear and freak out. They have some history. And she though she denied and cursed him, I have a feeling she's into him!"

["You have a good gut feeling,"] Jack said, as Yumi petted him.

"I know," I winked.

"So, you think they might work out?" Felix grinned.

"Oh, I have no doubt," I chuckled mischievously. "Just a touch."

He arched his eyebrows, "You think they're mates?"

I tilted my head, "I think she feels like he's her mate."

"That would be insane," Felix gasped. "Show her pic again."

"She's hot, believe me," I opened it and showed to them, and they all took thrice looking at it. "And we all know she's powerful, given her link with our dear Crone. Again, they have history. He was crazy in love with her best friend."

"Isn't her best friend, your mom?" Yumi whispered.

A nod, "Yes. I know. He has an amazing taste."

"From putrid to amazing," Felix mocked and we both laughed.

"So, you will insist on that with Oli?" River asked one last time.

Sigh, this is hard. "I'm not changing my mind, unless I'm wrong."

"You are wrong."

["You are wrong."]

{"You are wrong."}

All of them, except the wardens and father, exclaimed, making my cheeks turn red. "I don't know that yet," I got up, pushing them all away with my telekinesis and stretching my body. "This training section is over. If you want to stay, you're free to do so. I'm out," I said loudly.

"Where are you going?" Father asked.

"Private training with Agatta," I took my bottle of water and iPad. "You can kick their arses if you want. We'll be here in three hours again. I'm annoyed with everyone on my toes, screaming how wrong I am. If you were in my place, and living my life, after all I went through, I doubt you would think differently than me. But that can't be helped, you're all treated softly," except for my mate. "Which is good. Better than being tortured."

"You okay?" Father ran to me, holding my face on his hands and making me look up to him.

"Not at all," I smiled softly. "But there's nothing I can do about it. Nothing I would accept doing, at least. You taught me people will always have different opinions from one another. I'm trying to deal with that."

He caressed my hair, "Did he hurt you?" He whispered.

I side-eyed Oliver, who was staring at me, conflicted, some meters behind us, then back to him. "Nah. The arsehole is me. Seems like blood runs thicker than I thought it did," then I opened my wings and flew away from the arena, to the small arena in the south of the Academy.

Agatta: I'm here, honey.

Me: I'll be with you in two minutes, black cat.

Me: On my way.

Agatta: I made dark chocolate brownies and bought strawberry ice cream, as well as passion fruit juice for us.

Agatta: *winking gif*

Agatta: You told me you love it.

Me: Aye, you're my heroine, black cat.

Me: It's all I'm needing today.

Agatta: Problems in paradise?

Me: I knew Hel in Paradise wouldn't work that we'll.

Agatta: *giggling gif*

Agatta: That was good one.

Agatta: Flirting aside, are you okay?

Me: I'll be, but right now I need what you got for food.

Me: And a lot of physical training.

Agatta: Okay, I can help with that.
