{"Can I come closer now? This space between us is annoying."}
Blushing, I pressed my lips together and turned to his table where he was with the Circle kids, all staring at Cosmos, while his eyes were still on me. Nodding softly, he quickly faded to me, hand on my waist possessive and addicted. Cosmos side-glared us and crunched his thin nose, but I could tell by how the corners of his lips curled that he wasn't as annoyed as he made it look like.
"Okay, uh," I gulped, "this is weird, but father, this is my boyfriend. You know him, but still. Uh, Oliver," I turned to him, "this is my father. I think this is how you officially meet right?"
{"I like it. He won't punch me, right?"}
I think so. I mean, no? Giggling, I turned to him and he was glaring at Oliver. "You will burn a hole on him if you keep glaring like that, you know, father?"
He clicked his tongue annoyed, "And I have a putrid taste!" He mocked, making me laugh.
"You are more alike than you think," I scoffed.
"I don't see the similarities!" They both said at the same time.
"Oh yeah?" I bit my bottom lip, holding in a smile.
"You better be serious, dusty fangs," Cosmos growled, daggers on his dark green eyes. "Or I'll murder you. And you better not take my words lightly," he played with one of the daggers I gave him, eyes hard on Oliver. "I am more than capable of killing a vampire like you."
{"Not frightening at all."} But he grinned, a condescending smug on his beautiful lips. "You wouldn't be able to kill me even if you wanted to. But don't worry, I am very, very, very serious about your cute daughter. Right, beautiful?" He winked at me. "I'm actually more serious about her than she is about me. No problems on my side."
"If any of you call me cute again, I'll kill you both," I growled.
"Adorable!" They said together again.
Crossing my arms over my chest, I glared at them. "Don't test me."
"You better be telling the truth," Cosmos pointed the dagger at Oli and grinned wickedly, "and I promise you, I will be able to kill you just fine. But as long as you don't do anything that will hurt her, I'll keep my blades and power away from you," he turned to me, "for her."
See? I told you he wasn't scary. "Good. Good. I like my boyfriend alive and all intact."
"You're really okay with fangs, right?" He arched an eyebrow, all but pretending he has no idea we are mates, which I'm thankful for. "If you get tired of walking-pain-in-the-arse here, I can make him disappear for you. Just give me the word."
Giggling, I bounced my head, "I'm good."
{"I see, death threats are in your family."} "Identical," he groaned.
"Like father, like daughter," Rio faded with the Circle to stand on Oli's back. "Now I get while you're so scary, new girl. Having a terrifying father like this, there was no way you would be a kind flower."
Cosmos glared at Rio, "I see what you told me about his annoying arse, darling. And what do you mean no kind flower? My daughter is a rose, she has some thorns here and there, but she's the most beautiful with the best scent. A flower nonetheless," he pointed the dagger to Rio now. "And what do you mean terrifying? Hel is cute."
{"You are indeed the most beautiful and scented one. My rose. And your thorns are harmless to me, they all part of your beauty,"} he held me closer to him. {"You are cute. But terrifyingly cute."}
Sugar-coating me again, I see.
{"Only the truth, babe. And did you gave him that dagger? And the dragon bracelet? Kind of similar to your necklace."} Oh?
I did. A set of eight identical daggers, and the bracelet. Made for him. All of emerald, it's his favorite gem, followed by diamond. He is an emerald dragon after all.
{"And the ruby ring in your finger?"}
He crafted for me. He wanted to give me something mom would.
{"He made it? Crafted it himself? For real?"}
Yes. Ruby because it suits someone with a lighter hair color like mine. In fact, he had asked me about it. I had no idea it was for me though.
{"Wow. Cosmic father-in-law has my respect. Did you talk to him about everything you wanted, beautiful?"}
I did. I'll tell you later, when we are alone.
{"I can't wait to be alone with you again."}
They all gasped, "Cute?"
"Of course," Cosmos grinned and winked at me. "She's the cutest, like her mom. She just has a big and smart mouth like mine, but she's cute. Even when she glares at me with death in her eyes, it's just too cute. And she's so, so, so, so short. Like an angry pincher!"
My jaw dropped and everyone froze. "You did not just call me that. I cannot believe you called me that," but before I could go at him, Oliver held me tighter still. "Let me go, I'm going to kick his arse."
{"So hot when angry."}
Not now, arsehole. "Say it again!" I growled.
He grinned widely. "See? Like an angry pincher!" Gasping again, I made black water rain over him, but he instantly conjured a black fancy umbrella above his head. "Darling, I know all of your tricks. And you've used this enough on me that I'm always prepared."
"Oh, wow, I'll take that advice!" Rio beamed.
"My daughter has quite a lot of angry fits," Cosmos giggled. "I got used to it. So short and small, but so powerful and furious. Quite the force to be reckoned with!"
"I'm still here you know!" I frowned.
"Uh, hi," Yumi and the girls came closer. "We are her roommates."
He blinked, "I know, little bird. I know all of you already. And you are lucky to be on her team, or she would kick your arse."
"She kind of did that already," Priya chuckled. "To us all."
That made him beam, "Aw, that's my girl. Daddy's proud."
"Go to hell," I pouted annoyed.
"Aye, so loving," he winked. "But I can't go to you, can I?"
"That was a horrible one!" I growled.
But his eyes turned to Agost and Nicolette who approached with a annoyed scowl on, "Hah," Cosmos clicked his tongue in distaste. "I can't wait for my daughter to kick your arses. I really can't fucking wait for that." His eyes turned to mine, mischievous and I licked my lips. "Do you see it roaming?"
Everyone looked from him to me, clueless. But I understand what he was talking about. Royal scandal. "It'll come and it'll be devastating," I smirked just as mischievous.
"Devastatingly amazing," he come to me and pushed Oliver aside, then played with my hair. "Whatever it takes."
"Whatever it takes," I winked.
{"I'm lost. I'm also intensely annoyed."}
What? Are you jealous?
{"He pushed me away from you. I'm possessed."}
What can I do to help you not feel like that?
{"Is there a chance of you pushing him away?"}
None.
{"Then let's escape for a while. The training will only begin in two hours. Tell him to go and do whatever he's got to do. I want to be with you. Just us. I don't know what is it. But I'm specially jealous today. I got all angry because you were training alone with Felix earlier, and now I'm angry again because you froze me to talk to him. I'm getting unreasonable. And I need you, beautiful. Before training. I know we did it before we came here, but I'm going insane, and I don't want to have a burst in here."}
I gulped, suddenly too conscious. "Father, the training only begins in two hours. Why don't you go settle down, take your fancy clothes, and then we meet on the main hall in two hours. Where will you be staying?"
"Mia always gives me the private cabin I used to use when I studied here, because I don't like the hotel. So, in the Blazing Woods," then he side-glared Oliver, he was still scowling annoyed, and turned to me with a grin on. "Deal with your… affairs. I'll meet you in two hours," he kissed my forehead and turned to Felix. "Looking good, Lix. Hel said you're dating two guys, must be tough."
Felix turned bright red, "Uncle!" He cried.
"You look better," he petted Felix's hair. "I'm glad. I knew Hel here would do you good. Keep it up and train with her. She'll hone you in a bit." Then he glared at the others, "And you, I can't wait for the training." He turned to me again, and partially shifted, just using his wing to fly above us all, "Go to hell, Hel!" He winked and flew out of the cafeteria in a second.
"W-wait, I can partially shift my wings?" Felix gasped.
"Yes!" I said matter-of-factly. "How do you think he trained me to use mine?" Grinning, I turned to them. "Don't worry, he won't harm any of you. Definitely not in a deadly way. Enjoy your free time as you can! Go with seraphim, Jack." I turned to Oliver who was now right behind me and took his hand, "Come on," let's go to my cabin.
{"More private!"} He opened a portal and we crossed it. When it closed, he looked at me with those ruby eyes of his, "Strip for me, babe."
