Chapter 101 - CI ||| To Need a Wheelchair & Stitches Down There

"Get up, you're coming with me!" I pushed his sheets away.

"Hell no!" He cried. "I am tireeeeddddd. Let me sleep, devil!"

Giggling, I stared at his shirtless torso, with my hands on my hips, "Training is doing you good, Lix. Your muscles are popping. Henrihk and Igor must be having the time of their lives with the filling of their sandwich looking like this."

He jerked up, "Girl, you're a pain in the arse, you know that?"

I winked, "I own that. Now, get up, dumbarse. We have a mission!"

"What kind of mission?" He growled unwillingly.

"Your uncle told me about a secret hidden chamber inside a secret office inside a magical eerie mirror, that was rumored to be a secret hang out thousands of years ago, where ghosts roam into," he turned pale. "No ghosts though. And why don't we go find it before anyone else or Oliver get to find it?" He won't refuse it. If there's something I've learned from Felix is that he may be scared, but if it means beating Oliver on something, he will do it scared!

The gleam of dare in his eyes told me that much. "I'm in!"

["Cosmos also said there are legends of cults in there!"]

I grinned mischievously, "Cults where they secretly sacrificed the young and virgin students, then drank their blood and offered it to the Triple Goddesses, in a way to gain more power," okay, I'm full of shite. But his horrified face is just priceless.

"Cults?" He gasped. "Sounds barbaric!"

"Wouldn't be a surprise, given the past behavior of your ancestors."

Felix rolled his eyes, "Not the guilt-tripping again." He gave me a side look, "So," he began as he walked to one of his many fancy wardrobes to get a dark green shirt, black ripped jeans that I'm sure are Igor's, and a black leather jacket that I've seen Henrihk using; though it's not like I can say much, since I'm using Oli's shirt.

"So?" I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Are you going to keep avoiding a private talk with your siblings?"

I cringed, "I'm not avoiding. I just don't have time."

He gave me a look that said you-are-full-of-shite. "You literally has all the time in the world in your bloody small hands, Hel. What kind of half-arse bullshite lie was that?"

["It was a terrible one indeed."]

Oh, shut up, Jack. You lost our race.

["Your wings are wider, it's not my bloody fault, you jerk!"]

What a half-arse excuse. "I don't know. I'm not good at this, Lix."

"And you'll stay bad at it, if you don't try, Hel," he scoffed. "I am still shocked that they are your half-siblings, but they are good kids, Hel. I know that much, I've known them for years. They are nothing like Philippa or Meredith. Thank goodness for that."

Sigh, "I don't doubt. Oliver told me about it. But… it's hard."

He gave me a sympathetic look, "Because they look like her?"

A nod, "Yes. But I mean it. I won't let them get hurt again."

Then we walked to the door, "I know you won't," and after he locked it, he turned to me. "You woke me up and called me. Now, take responsibility for it and carry me. Bridal style like you can," he winked.

["I love this kid!"]

You say that every day. "Fine!" I extended my arms and he jumped on them, arms around my neck. "Hold on," opening my wings, I took us off the ground. "I'll fly us quick to the library."

"Alright. Is this shirt Oliver's?"

I blushed, "Yes. Your pants and jacket?"

He turned strawberry red, "Igor and Henrihk's."

"I see," I grinned mischievously and flew through the empty castle, since it's near midnight now. "I'm happy for you Lix," I said as we flew by the cafeteria. "To see you all close to the other kids in class, despite all the bickering. I'm happy you have the friends you've always wanted. And that your lair is now always full with them."

"Me too," he smiled softly. "I'm happy too."

"Now, let's discover this place before all these arseholes!"

"Hell yeah, Hel!" Ugh.

["Aye, he's on my top three favorites. Oli-beautiful-babe and Yumi up on the chain, him third. The kids are all cool though. I feel like their familiar!"] Excuse me?

Hello? You are my familiar. Not theirs.

["We are like… bond-related. It's different!"]

That's not a thing.

["Yes. Yes, it is. It's like blood-related and found family!"]

Are your saying you prefer them over ME?

["No. I'm saying after you, they're my favorite people."]

I don't like it.

["That's because you're jealous!"]

I'm not jealous!

["You are, and that's okay. I feel treasured."]

Keep insinuating shite and I'll start a Roasting Wolpertingers Cult.

But he laughed, this bastard. ["You're funny, Hel."]

No. No, I'm not bloody funny. I'm scary. Frightening.

["You know you will have to face a mirror, right?"]

I gulped. I know.

["Are you scared?"]

I'm not scared, but neither am I excited. Or happy. Or interested. Then we arrived at the library and I stopped, putting Felix down. Feeling tense about what will happen next.

He gave me a suspicious look, "You got all cold. What is it?"

Sigh, "To get into the hidden room, we'll have to do it through a… mirror," I moved uncomfortable. "Your uncle said it's a creepy, eerie, and magical mirror that has like a life of its own. When you look at it, your reflex on it will grin and wink at you," then I explained the rest to him.

"Hel, it'll be okay. You're pretty!"

I scoffed bitterly, "I don't know about that. That's what you think."

Felix took my hand on his, "It'll be fine. I'm here. If you have any panic attack again, I'll help you out, like I did when we met. Believe me, Hel, you are outstandingly pretty. Frighteningly pretty."

"Frightening sounds good," I licked my lips.

"Will you stay with your tongue shifted?" Oh?

I blushed, "Yes," Oliver asked.

He gave me a naughty look, "That 'yes' sounds suspicious."

Chuckling, I punched him softly, "Oliver likes it, alright? We can do a lot of things like this. But keep your mouth shut about it. Or I'll skin your arse alive, and then kick your boyfriends'."

"I knew Oliver was a savage nasty guy," he grinned widely.

"Look who's talking," I gave him a dirty look.

"Okay, we are both with our hands full, alright?"

"You definitely are," and his blushing face was priceless. "Two boyfriends at one go," I clicked my tongue. "You are a brave one. Must be quite the sandwich. Vampire, hawk shifter, and dragon. What a combination uh? Igor must have his fill of blood from you too," I love messing with him.

He gasped embarrassed, "Stop."

"What? I'm not doing anything!" Shall we play innocent?

"Igor said he saw Oliver naked before," he put on a smug face. "And that he's monstrous. Insanely huge in all means of the word. That all of the Circle boys were genuinely scared for whoever ended up with him. Because whoever it was would need wheelchair and stitches down there!"

I choked on my laugh, "Don't be a nasty bastard."

"You look so innocent, but you ain't," he winked.

"Never said I was," I countered winking back.

["You two are both nasty!"]

"Bloody damn straight we are," biting my lip, I entered the library.
