This morning was a very busy day for Viona. The message from her Uncle Lily's men meant that she had to do everything quickly.
Even though this morning she did not have to prepare Joe's needs, because he did not come home, Viona still had to take care of Sammy's school needs.
After dropping Sammy off at school and telling his teacher to wait a bit if she returned late, Viona headed to The Blooming Lotus in a hurry.
"What? The guest is already waiting in my room. Okay, just a moment. I'm here and I'll be right there," she said into the phone call and walked hurriedly.
"Akh!" she screeched in surprise. She almost fell when the heel of her shoe slipped and dislocated her heel. Thankfully, Viona's body was caught by the chest of someone coming from the side.
"Y-you?"
"Is that the greeting for people who know each other? You at least asked how I was doing, right?" said the man, "How's your foot? Is it hurting?" he asked again.
