Getting disliked was something Nathaniel was so used to. Even his own parents disliked him to the point of abandoning him at a young age. Growing up, it was the same for the people around him. They disliked him for no reason, bullied him, and took advantage of him.
So would anyone blame Nathaniel if he ended up as someone who didn't care about other people? Would anyone blame him if he lived for himself and only for himself alone?
"That — that's it?" he blurted out in disbelief, almost laughing to himself at her ridiculous reasoning. "You want me dead because you dislike me?"
"If that isn't clear, then it's because I find you an eyesore." Penny shrugged apathetically. "Don't tell me you don't know that already? You scheme against people and then act like a victim. Instead of trying to save yourself, you simply cry and throw tantrums."
Penny slowly leaned forward and arched a brow. "Aren't you ashamed of yourself? It's pathetic."
