Having a headache before waking up was something Penny was all too familiar with after a night of drinking. Slowly, she opened her eyes and squinted at the warm glow of the morning sun hitting her face.
"Hmm…?" Penny moaned, pushing herself up despite the heaviness of her body.
For a moment, she was confused as she scratched her head. It took her a moment to remember everything that had transpired the night before. Slowly, her eyes widened, and her mouth fell open. She instantly looked to the side of her bed, only to find it empty.
"Renren?" she called in a panic, tossing the blanket off and flinging her legs out of the bed. "Renren?!"
Penny quickly put on her indoor slippers and went straight to the bathroom. She hadn't checked the time, but normally, in the morning, Zoren was already showering or had finished.
He wasn't there.
