"Oh, wow, Grandma! Yes, swing your arms like that." Penny closed her fist, moving her arms around to demonstrate to Old Mrs. Pierson how it was done.
Like a child, Old Mrs. Pierson punched the air while walking slowly. Surprisingly, she didn't seem to need her cane at the moment. Although their pace was much slower, she clung to Penny most of the time.
"Grandma, are you sure you don't need your cane?" Zoren asked from Penny's other side, tilting his head forward with his eyes on his grandmother. "You can hold on me."
Old Mrs. Pierson, holding onto Penny's arm, cast her grandson a suspicious look. "My grandson, you just don't want me clinging to your wife, do you?"
"Yes."
"My child, your husband even gets jealous of his own grandmother," Old Mrs. Pierson said, turning to Penny with an apologetic look. "Does he give you a hard time about this? I'll teach him a lesson or two!"
