"I see." Atlas nodded in understanding, looking at Allen as if he were about to say something insulting.
Seeing the look in Atlas's eyes, Allen laughed awkwardly. "It was a dumb thing to do, wasn't it?"

"Allen, even if you finish a year's work in advance, do you think it would make me happy?" Atlas replied, his tone a little dead. "I'd just find some other work for you and me to do. Meaning, more work for the both of us."
