"Close down all exits —" The first bodyguard, who was approaching the short entrance from the other wing of the mansion, halted as Penny kicked the door open. His breath hitched, sensing the dangerous aura emanating from her.
Penny stood by the door, smirking, her eyes scanning the people in front of her.
"Uh…" The bodyguard instinctively stepped back, tilting his head slightly while keeping his eyes on Penny. "One of you, report to the captain. The rest… let's stop her."
These bodyguards had rushed in when they heard the commotion from the separate, dirty kitchen. They had thought it was an enemy bold enough to step foot in this place.
Who would have thought it was only Penny?
But then again, the bodyguards' instincts told them this was worse than facing an enemy. The first bodyguard leading the group knew their captain, Angel, had to be there. After all, he could sense danger from Penny, and by the looks of it, she didn't seem to recognize them.
