Today, the Miller family was making the buyout official.
Theo and Mr. Miller gathered a few reporters and media personnel to cover this event. As they arrived and sat down in their respective seats, they heard someone announce. Turning their heads toward the other door, both father and son nearly fell out of their seats.
"What… what's going on…?" Theo breathed, his wide eyes fixated on the approaching Charles Bennet. "Why is Mr. Bennet here and not Penelope?"
Mr. Miller, who used to banter with Charles, had to hold the table to keep himself from falling. Only when Charles was standing before them did the father and son realize their rude reaction.
"Ah!" Mr. Miller kicked his son's chair. "Mr. Bennet! It's nice to see you after a while."
