Doyun swiped at the green button icon on the phone to answer the call. "Yeoboseyo?"
"Doyun a, this is your aunt, Lee Younghee."
"Oh, it's you, ajumma. Sorry. I forgot to save the number, so I couldn't recognise it."
Younghee noticed once how her nephew still addressed her as an ajumma instead of a gomo (paternal auntie), even after she had identified herself with him as his auntie in her response earlier.
But well, she cannot force the young man to call her his auntie when he has only come to know that they have been families only recently.
"How are you and the rest of the family doing?"
"I'm fine, and so is my family, ajumma. What about you and yours, please?"
"I'm also good, and so is mine. So, how far with what we discussed? Any progress?"
Doyun was disinterested in whatever her reason for calling him was.
