Avery's brows rose at that.
"Archie... I mean, The A² Corp. has rivals?" she asked, surprise evident in her voice.
Jodi cast her a quick glance.
"Who are you and where's my friend, Ava? How can you not know if your husband has rivals or not, and who they are?"
Hearing that, Avery felt like facepalming herself in embarrassment. Once again, she felt like she didn't really know Archie, while he, on the other hand, seemed to know everything about her, even things she had never told anyone before.
