"Why...?" Avery whispered. "Why do you talk like this is something you have experienced before?"
"Maybe I have, maybe I haven't...Thorne might have an answer," he gave a cryptic reply, changing the topic immediately, "Any way, if you decide to face everyone of them at the same time, it won't end well. What if you end up rekindling your feelings for Brian or fall in love with someone else from that family?"
"Is this you trying to mock me for loving Brian once upon a time?"
Archie shrugged nonchalantly.
"If you see it as mockery, then I'll suggest you don't worry about it. My question now is what's your next line of action?" he asked.
Avery avoided his eyes while nibbling her lips out of anxiety. She reversed the question, "Uhm...you seem to have a lot of knowledge in that aspect. What would you advise that I do?"
