Archie's brows furrowed as he studied him, now lying on the ground with his hands holding his head up. There were a lot of things he had to worry about here.
First of all, if his friend had just woken up from a two months long coma, wasn't he supposed to get a call from the doctors and nurses he put in charge of him, immediately it happened? And if by any chance, they had called him and he missed it, weren't they supposed to have the patient under watch at least?
Last but not the least, why was his friend acting so strangely? Like a carefree idiot who woke up hungover from a drunk night, and not like a betrayed man who just woke up from a two months coma induced by a planned accident.
For days on end, Archie had imagined how things would look like, and what would happen when Arthur woke up. Would he be happy he survived, and make attempts to recover well? No. A blatant no to that. That scenario was highly impossible.
