With a space of less than five metres between them and Archie's back still turned to her, Avery was able to summon the courage to ask the question topping all other questions in her mind. She knew each answer would only lead to more questions, so for now, she just wanted to take it once at a time.
Since she wasn't leaving Archie anytime soon and also wasn't letting him leave, then she had all the time in the world to come up with her questions while he had all the time in the world to answer her.
