After crossing the square and going to the west side of the city, after 30 minutes they stopped in front of a four-story building.
That building did not match with its surroundings, because everything around it was nothing more than a ruin, while the place looked healthy and did not match the atmosphere of that place.
Tahel, who was sitting on a cart, was very moved after seeing that building. It looked really good there. The group of hellhounds seemed to care a lot about their security, because they had built a barricade around the building from the remains of other buildings, which prevented the intrusion of many monsters.
Although their shelter was safe due to the environmental conditions, but this place was built by putting stones and metal together and made the place strong like a fortress.
They went further and reached the entrance of the building; There were two guard posts where some soldiers were guarding, they stopped when they saw James and respected him like military soldiers.
At that moment, Tahel could see that on the faces of those men, there was a feeling of respect with a little taste of fear.
It seems that James is a very cautious and precise person with the qualities of a strong leader.
Seeing Tahel's confused and surprised face, James smiled with satisfaction and said proudly: "Hey boy, what do you think about this shelter?!"
When Tahel saw the proud face of James, he knew that he should be careful with his answer and not upset him, because he did not know James yet and did not know what kind of person he was.
However, this place looked really good, so there was no lie in Tahel's answer. "Oh, this looks really nice."
James started laughing when he saw Tahel's serious face. "Haha...boy, you're so cute, you seem to be a taciturn person."
Well, James was right though, because he didn't say a word the whole way, and he didn't say anything unless James asked him a question.
Tahel seemed to have an introverted personality and little desire to communicate with others; So James turned to the boy and said: "As someone who has more experience, I tell you to try to have connections for yourself in this world, because if you want to go it alone, it won't take long for your life to come to an end."
After giving that advice, James stepped forward and grumbled under his breath. "Tch, Tch...What is the problem with the children of this period?!"
At that moment, James looked like a grumbling old man, although he was not very old. He was in his late twenties and was 29 years old.
Personally, it can be said that he looked like a handsome person and was tall, although that scar on his face gave him a scary look, but it did not reduce his innate charm.
After listening to James's words, Tahel thought to himself that he is a strange man, because sometimes his words seemed sarcastic and sometimes like an advice. After passing the guard post, they went inside the building.
The ground floor of the building contained a large hall and the atmosphere of the place was shaded with light from the lanterns on the walls.
In the midst of that light and shadow, a muscular and tall woman was coming towards them.
The woman welcomed James and said, "James, you came early. It seems that you brought some guests with you. Ummm... I see an unfamiliar face among them."
That woman turned to Tahel with a mocking tone and said: "Hey little one...who are you?!"
Tahel got a little angry because of the woman's rude tone, but a hand has placed on his shoulder and told him to calm down.
James spoke to the woman."Haha...Sophia, you shouldn't talk like that, she's my special guest."
Sofia grumbled to herself after hearing James' words. "Oh...I just wanted to tease him. Didn't you see how funny he looked."
Tahel was a little upset to hear those words, because it seemed that he had become a means of entertainment for them.
But that conversation did not last long, and at James's order, people arrived to take Elaine's group to the therapy place.A clinic for the injured, that clinic was located at the end of the hall on the ground floor, so Tahel went there with them.
When they arrived there, Tahel saw that the place was filled with several beds, most of them empty, and several shelves in the corner of the room, and a series of small glass vials were placed inside those shelves.
Of course, there was also something that had caught Tahel's attention from the very beginning, and that was the presence of those lanterns to illuminate this place, because if a bit of light penetrated outside, it would attract the attention of the monsters; but it seemed that they had covered all the windows and cracks in the building, so no light radiation came out of the building the outside.
There were several therapists in the clinic, they came forward after James entered and greeted him.
James ordered them to therapy the group members.
One of the therapists, who appeared to be a slim woman, approached Tahel and asked to check him, but Tahel was a bit guarded, as he did not like being touched by others, especially if he was not in critical condition.
But after struggling with himself, he allowed the woman to touch his body, as he was currently in so much pain that he no longer had the strength to stand and remain conscious.
Using a spell, the woman placed a ring of runes on her eyes and her motionless eyes emitted a green aura.
She used the spell to check for internal injuries, fortunately Tahel had no internal injuries except for a few torn muscles and most of her wounds were external and on the skin.
After finishing her examination, the female therapist gave Tahel a small bottle containing a yellow liquid and asked her to drink it.
Tahel hesitated a little, but she was in so much pain that she ignored her hesitation and drank the contents of the bottle.
A bitter taste went down her throat and her expression became gloomy.
After her treatment was over, James, who had been watching her from a distance, came towards her. "Hey, are you feeling better now?!"
"How about we go talk about our deal?!"
Well, anyway, they had to determine the outcome of the deal as soon as possible, Tahel, who felt better after taking the medicine, went with James.
Meanwhile, the other therapists treated the rest of the group.
An hour later.
Suddenly, a noise filled the ground floor hall.
A man's loud voice surrounded the entire hall like a thunderbolt. It was Zack. Finally, after a few hours, he woke and found himself in an unfamiliar place.
He saw a man standing above him, so he unconsciously attacked the man and knocked him to the ground, pinned the man's face to the ground, locked his hands, and said in a rage: "What are you doing wrong?! Where is here?!"
The man, who was terrified, lost his ability to speak and stuttered. "I... I'm a... thera...therapist."
Meanwhile, the other therapists who were treating the others stopped working upon seeing what was happening and went to a corner, trying to calm him down while keeping their distance from Zack.
"Please, sir, let our colleague go. We are only therapists and this is a hellhound shelter."
Hearing that name, Zack's anger increased to the point that his eyes became bloodshot. "Tell that damn James to come here?!"
The healers were very scared of Zack's angry state. They were people who only had healing powers and were not good at fighting at all, and had weak bodies due to using healing spells.
When they heard Zack's request, they quickly sent one of their people to inform the commander.
Anyway, the noise Zack had made was drawing the attention of everyone present in that place.
So it didn't take long for James to find out about the incident and quickly rushed to the clinic.
