They arrived at the control room, and Luca immediately began searching the screens for any sign of an intruder.
"Wait a minute, I see someone. Is that... Diego?" Sophia's eyes narrowed as she tried to get a closer look.
"It's him... it's Diego," Luca's eyes lit up as he immediately left the control room.
"But how did he know about this place?" Sophia asked, following behind him.
"Diego is my right-hand man, so of course I told him about this place."
They hurried through the mansion, making their way to the entrance. Luca unlocked the heavy wooden door and threw it open. Standing outside was Diego, his face a mix of relief and exhaustion.
"Boss!" Diego beamed in relief as he threw himself toward Luca, embracing him. "I knew you were alive, I knew it."
Luca smiled. "I'm glad you're alive too. Are you alright?"
"Yes, sir."
Immediately after letting go, Diego knelt in front of Luca, lowering his gaze to the floor.
