Hours passed by, but soon they were at the end of the line of everyone who wanted to greet the new King in the throne room on the day of her crowning. Sir Lancelot, bless his soul, had stayed with Artie the whole time without complaint. The other Knights of the Round Table, including Lady Morgan, were basically functioning as security and were escorting everyone to the next destination once the greetings were finished.
Some left the castle right away, having to head back to their homes. They were only few in number, as Artie knew, everyone loved a good party, and there was nothing like a new King to get a party started.
Thankfully, the greetings had been rather quick, so Artie had some down time in between the crowning, and the party for herself. She needed it after spending most of the time smiling at everyone like an idiot. They had apparently really liked that look.
