Chapter 40 - Kizaru Felt a Little Scared

Hancock didn't think Kizaru had the leisure to guide them in their practice. But this is how it turned out. She could only guess what Lakeman did.

'What method did you use to force Kizaru to provide guidance?' Hancock raised her eyes and looked in a certain direction. Her eyes, as cold as night, seemed to see Lakeman in a certain restaurant through the barrier of the wall.

'Hmm…' Hancock sighed silently in her mind. This Lakeman really doesn't look like a typical Celestial Dragon. How can any Celestial Dragon let an Admiral candidate guide their slaves in their cultivation? This action is totally worthless!

'What are you planning?' Hancock frowned slightly, her cold little face showing a rare look of distress.

'If you want me, you've got me,' Hancock thought. 'Even if there were various ways of tormenting people, I didn't refuse. Even when I was grabbed by the legs and stuffed in front of my sisters who fainted from exhaustion, or had my stomach filled with my head pressed down, I cooperated with it all. Do you want more?'

Hancock felt irritable when she thought of this. The middle-aged woman said that the training was completed when she willingly knelt in front of Lakeman, begging for his favor with a rosy face, and moaning incessantly. But Hancock doesn't think that will happen to her. She definitely doesn't want to be like that.

In the afternoon, in one of the hotel's spacious grounds, the hotel where Celestial Dragons stayed was called a hotel, but it was actually a large resort. The area where Lakeman lives is about the size of a football field, with various facilities scattered throughout. Finding an open training ground is very simple.

"I'm going to teach you something new," Kizaru said to Hancock and her sisters. "A high-speed movement technique, the full version of which is called 'Shave.' It can achieve ultra-high speeds far beyond human eyesight and is very useful in battle."

The eyes of the three sisters suddenly lit up. Speed is a very important weapon in battle! If one person's speed is just a bit faster than the opponent's, the balance of the battle will be greatly tilted, and the faster side's winning rate will increase by more than 30%!

"The introductory training for this move is like this..." Kizaru began to talk, breaking down the knowledge from the elite training camp and explaining it carefully.

In the restaurant, Lakeman frowned as he looked at the feedback.

[You received training feedback from Boa Hancock!]

[You gain some insights into Shave!]

Lakeman received the information in his mind, flipped through it, and was speechless. 'Is this called "some understanding of Shave"? It's obviously just some prerequisite knowledge.'

Just like before learning Jump Slash, you have to learn the lightsaber manual first. But the lightsaber does not require much learning. Basically, if you know what it is about, you can focus on formal sword practice.

"How dare you teach Hancock something useless?" Lakeman looked confused. He agreed that Kizaru should continue to coach the three Boa sisters to make Hancock stronger and give him

more feedback. But the prerequisite for becoming stronger is that Kizaru has to teach something significant.

"What are you doing?" Lakeman stood up and walked out of the restaurant dissatisfied. The surrounding servants and guards followed suit.

Not long after, Lakeman came to the place where Hancock and her sisters were practicing. In the venue, Kizaru nodded with satisfaction.

The basic knowledge he taught was enough for the three sisters to practice for half a month. Although it doesn't actually take that long, you can skip it after practicing for three to five days. But if you skip it, how can you waste time? He can't teach Hancock and the others everything!

"Saint Lakeman!" Kizaru noticed Lakeman's arrival and turned around to say hello. He felt slightly happy. Sure enough, continuing to coach the three sisters would increase the chances of contact with Lakeman.

"Vice Admiral Kizaru, I ask you to guide Hancock and the others in their practice. You have to come up with something real." There was a hint of joking in Lakeman's tone, and he looked at Kizaru with a half-smiling look.

This attitude stunned Kizaru. Not only him, but others present were also surprised. 'Master Lakeman, are you not satisfied with Kizaru?'

"Saint Lakeman..." Kizaru wanted to explain, but suddenly his heart trembled, and he looked at Lakeman in shock. From his perspective, he sensed that Lakeman's strength had become stronger again. His aura was earth-shakingly strong! Compared to seven days ago, it had doubled! It had reached the exit standard for the elite training camp!

'Impossible, how can someone's strength grow so fast?' Thoughts flickered in Kizaru's mind, and he thought in disbelief, 'During these seven days, Saint Lakeman was eating, drinking, and having fun with the Celestial Dragons group, but he still had time to practice?'

For a moment, Kizaru broke into a cold sweat. Lakeman saw right through him!

There was silence in the air. Everyone's expressions became weird. Because Kizaru did not refute, but remained silent.

What does this mean?

It shows that what Lakeman said is true. Kizaru is really hiding his clumsiness and did not teach the three Boa sisters seriously.

But the question is, how did Lakeman know? Everyone was surprised. Because in their eyes, Lakeman is a Celestial Dragon who has never practiced and has no interest in practicing. How did he know that Kizaru was hiding?

'Master, you actually have such keen eyesight!?' The housekeeper was also secretly shocked and looked at Lakeman in disbelief. The three Boa sisters also became suspicious. Especially Hancock. She stared at Lakeman, feeling a surge in her heart.

'He is indeed not as simple as he seems!' Hancock understands this very well. As she practices every day, her physical fitness and stamina are increasing. In theory, she should be far better than Lakeman who has not practiced. But every night she fought, Lakeman could always pin her down. At the same time, she must be the first person to faint.

'A Celestial Dragon that is different from other Celestial Dragons?' Hancock's eyes flashed with a strange light. She doesn't know yet that there are strong ones among the Celestial Dragons. That's the Five Elders and the Knights of God. Not all Celestial Dragons are fat pigs in captivity.

Fat pigs cannot consolidate their own privileged class and suppress everyone for eight hundred years.

But it didn't stop Hancock from gaining a new understanding of Lakeman.
