It was another good day in the Devil's Archive. It was just 9:00am in the morning and there were around 20 patrons in to purchase books, one of them being the most loyal of all customers, Gilbert.
Since they were quite many in number, they simply took seats while the library assistants took their orders and would hand over the books they needed to them.
Emmet was busy seated behind the counter, his only job being to attend to incoming customers who would place their purpose for coming into the library with him before taking their seats.
Gilbert moved up to the counter to meet with the librarian.
"Good day, Emmet," Gilbert greeted with his usual bright smile. Over time, he had grown accustomed with referring to the lad by his name.
"Good morning and welcome to the Devil's Archive," Emmet responded to his greeting, reciprocating the same energy.
