Just as King Red finished his sentence, the door of his office swung open, and a young girl excitedly entered the room. She was dressed in a light-flowing pink dress and her hair was neatly braided and adorned with small flowers.
"Father, I've finished my lessons in the morning! Can I play now?" Sirena gladly asked as she entered. She was hopping up and down when she felt a different atmosphere in his father's office. That's when she realized that his father was not alone.
"Oh, I apo—" Sirena was about to apologize for her rudeness, but she froze mid-sentence as her gaze landed on a familiar boy sitting in front of her father. Her eyes widened in surprise, clearly not expecting to see that person here.
"Theron?" she blurted out, clearly taken aback to see him there.
Theron was equally stunned, his heart skipping a beat. He hadn't expected to see Sirena again this early, and certainly not under these circumstances.
