As the tour continued, Theron, Royce, and Sirena exchanged glances, each absorbing the academy's grandeur in their own way. Theron's mind wandered back to his tasks—especially the third one.
He wasn't a cruel person by nature, and the idea of making a fellow student cry gnawed at him. What purpose could such a task serve? Would it really prove anything?
"What's on your mind, Theron? You seem... preoccupied." Royce seemed to notice Theron's distraction.
Theron glanced at him, considering what to say. After a brief hesitation, he decided against it. "Just thinking about the life ahead…" he plainly answered.
Royce chuckled. "Don't worry, Man. Only the best come out of here. But don't worry, we'll handle it."
Sirena, walking just ahead, turned back with a grin. "I'm just excited to start! The academy is incredible. Can you believe we're finally here?"
