Leon stirred from his sleeping capsule as the first faint glimmers of morning light filtered into the room. Blinking the sleep from his eyes, he glanced around and noticed something unusual—a large suitcase packed neatly with all his belongings sitting nearby.
A soft voice broke his thoughts, and he turned to see Rose standing beside the suitcase.
"Good morning, Mr. Leon," she said gently. "I've made sure that everything is ready for your departure."
"Thank you, Rose."
The night before, Rose had requested permission to prepare his things, knowing he might be logged into the game for most of the morning. Leon had agreed, giving her the necessary details, and true to her word, she had everything organized and waiting for him.
