"Master, sorry…"
Broken and Ivana turned to the side, looking down to see a small fox gazing up at them. It was Polly.
"Master... I've been useless to you... you can punish me if you want…"
Broken immediately sat down on the ground, reaching out to lift the little fox. "Hey, Polly… are you okay?" he asked with a soft smile. "You've always shown up at the right time to help me. Thanks for that."
"But, Master, I couldn't be there with you…," Polly whispered.
Ivana joined them, sitting beside Broken. "Hi, Polly, it's been a while since we last saw you," she said warmly.
"Ivana..." Polly replied softly.
Soon after, Broken decided it was time to leave the forest. He mounted Polly—something he hadn't done in over a month of Yunatea Time—and, yes, he realized how much he'd missed this.
