After the explosion, Riona was the first to get up. Perhaps it was because she had been thrown into the corner of the room right before the blast.
She recalled Thorin telling her that her identity as the Blood Moon child had already been exposed. Who were they that he referred to? It couldn't be just King Valentin.
Riona staggered to her feet, pressing her temple to ease the dizziness. Everyone lay unconscious around her.
"Where is he…?" she murmured, wobbling toward the door.
She needed to find Florian. She hadn't seen him since before the explosion, and he was usually by Thorin's side. One might think Florian was a werewolf and Thorin his brother, given how inseparable they were.
"Flo…?" Riona called out weakly.
Once she got near the door, she saw Florian on the floor along with everyone else. It was dead silent. She became frantic seeing her brother in such a state.
