Was it just Riona, or did everyone also expect the voice of an ancestor to be a bit more… refined?
Shouldn't an ancestor speak, like, in a low voice? Shouldn't an ancestor use difficult words and have an air of mystery about them?
This voice claiming to be an ancestor was just too suspicious.
"Were you the cause of the sudden heat?" Riona asked, looking around as she didn't know where to set her eyes. It was really awkward talking to the air, not knowing who was speaking to you.
"Uh, you don't call that heat. That's my mighty, magical power. You were feeling my great power, but of course, I controlled it to some extent so you wouldn't have to talk to me naked," the alleged ancestor said.
Seriously? Is he Thorin's ancestor, not mine? Because he has the same haughtiness as that Alpha.
