A tense silence descended the clearing as soon as the female finished her rant. She looked incredibly proud of what she had said to Rika.
But Rika only had a bored expression, saying she had not heard a word that had been said this whole time.
"Are you done yapping now? If so, then we should get started. We are short on time, and I must return home before it's too late. I don't like to make my land-lady worry about me."
Rika grabbed the female beta's face before pulling it forward and looking her right in the eye.
It made the beta nervous since she did not know what Rika planned to do to her. The anticipation of what would happen was worse than the actual thing happened.
"Don't worry! It will hurt a lot, but you will get used to it. After all, this is what you chose, so you should be prepared to face the consequences of your actions."
The nails that dug into the beta's face made it bleed. Blood coated Rika's nails as well, but she ignored it.
