"Rika, are you fine? You look distracted! Hey, are you not even going to answer me anymore?"
Emily asked as she waved her arm in front of Rika. She was surprised at how deeply in thought Rika was and how much she was not paying attention.
"Huh! Ah, sorry! I was too deep in my thoughts. Were you saying something?"
Rika asked Emily, who immediately looked alert when Rika waved her hand.
The older alpha reached out to grab Rika's hand tightly before bringing that hand to her nose to sniff it.
Damian had also noticed that pheromonal scent, and he had a frown.
"Which scum do I need to kill?"
Damian asked in a tense voice. He was ready to murder someone, and Rika did not feel surprised by that.
She was surprised that Damian was not hiding his murderous aura. It seemed like some kind of trigger had been flipped in his mind.
