Eleonora felt bad when the servant from the king's palace told her that the head of the kingdom was with his mistress. If she had been alone, then she would have happily listened to the king's criticism that he was shameless with Effie. But, the problem was Andrew's presence by his side. He did not plan to make Andrew endure the same thing as him. He didn't. She still had more conscience left than anyone else.
"Is something wrong, Eleonora?" Andrew asked.
They were alone on the path to the king's palace. Andrew guided her very nicely to the entrance of the palace where the passages looked quite complicated. Eleonora was sure that if she was alone there, she would get lost.
"I'm sure that Lady Effie has said all the things she wanted to say to the king! It seems that asking for the kind of guardianship I want is becoming more and more difficult!" complained Eleonora.
