Chapter 8 - Kick Out 2

"This is nothing, Butler! We have done nothing wrong to be fired like this!" The protest echoed among them and grew louder in the hall.

"If you have any objections, you can tell the lady tomorrow morning! But right now I'm just saying what the lady wants. I'm sorry, but this is what the lady wants!" The butler Sebastian had announced almost all of the servants the lord had sent to the Lucsor residence.

"The Prince will not allow this, Butler!" They seemed so confident that they would get their jobs back once they met the prince.

The butler smiled at all the dismissed servants and maids. "The lady has a message for all of you! You will regret underestimating Lady Eleonora!" He said exactly what the lady had told him.

Silence fell over the servants and maids. Their voices buzzed as they scattered. Each of them talked to someone nearby about the humiliation they had suffered. They did not, however, refuse to accept the final payment that was to be handed to each of them.

Sebastian went back to his own office. For several days he had to work hard to gather the servants and maids who had been expelled by the prince and his concubines for various reasons. He would emphasize in his letter that their mistress had realized her mistake and had changed quite a bit.

"Sir, you'd better get some rest," said Aisya, who had come to bring coffee for the butler.

"I will sleep after I finish all these letters. You should all know this good news, Aisya! Our brave lady is back at last!" Sebastian looked overjoyed when he said this.

Aisya had no complaints at all. She was just as excited as Sebastian was right now.

"Then I'll help you!"

"No!" Sebastian refused firmly. "You have to make breakfast for Lady tomorrow morning. Then let me do my job so I don't have to get up too early to supervise. I trust you!"

Aisya paused, then looked down and left. She had to think about what kind of food to give to the beloved lady. Obviously it was something delicious like today's dinner.

"Aisha, what's the commotion downstairs?" asked Eleonora to the maid who was combing her hair.

Aisha stopped what she was doing and hurried to tie Eleonora's hair. When she was done, she asked for permission to see what was going on downstairs. Soon Aisha returned with a frightened face.

"Lady, you must come down immediately!" she pleaded.

She stood up, letting him go first and following behind. Every few steps she saw Aisha stop and look back. When she was close enough, Aisya would quickly step forward again.

The closer she got to the hall, the louder the commotion became. The voices of a man and another man could be heard. One was shouting, the other was trying to calm things down with an almost exhausted voice. She could guess who was making the noise now. She paused before going down the stairs and then took a breath to calm herself. She told herself not to be affected in the slightest by the trouble that was coming this time.

"Are you all right, Lady?" Aisya, who didn't see Eleonora following her again, stepped back and asked worriedly.

"I'm fine! Don't we have to explain to the bastards downstairs what happened?" Every time she spoke, she couldn't stop herself from using harsh words. She took a deep breath and walked away with a broad smile. Aisya was behind him now.

Her footsteps stopped the debate below. Everyone looked up. There were happy faces because Eleonora had finally appeared. But most of them looked annoyed. Well, she recognized who those people who disliked her were.

"Aisya, can you prepare breakfast for me at the table?" she asked Aisya.

This girl would only feel depressed if she was in this place right now. Because those people with high positions would only shout at each other to get what they wanted.

"It's good that you're still entertaining us!" The king's concubine, Effie Berdine, raised her chin. She showed that she was someone who deserved to be treated well. Eleonora did not agree at all.

"Whose breakfast is it? My maid only prepares breakfast for me. Then you - I mean the three of you - are rude guests. Coming without invitation or notice and now making a scene in my residence!" She joined him, raising her chin to show that she too could boast.

"Eleonora, my dear! Are you angry that I did not defend you that day, but defended Ebe instead? I apologize. But why did you cancel the articles that Ebe liked? Aren't you friends?" asked Prince Gerome.

"Who?"

"Yes?" Gerome was surprised at the ignorance Eleonora managed to maintain.

"Who is my friend?" she asked more clearly. "No friend who takes things from the treasury dresses as well as the owner!" Seeing how surprised Ebe was, she seemed not to have expected Eleonora's resistance. But she didn't stop there. "Besides, there is no fiancé who uses his fiancée to fulfill the wishes of his mistress. You really have no brains!" Eleonora accused.

"You should watch your mouth!" the concubine, Prince Gerome's mother, shouted at Eleonora.

"Of course I watch my mouth. It's you who don't watch your actions. I only say the right things." Eleonora took a deep breath. "There is magic on the door of the treasure room, without the owner's permission the treasure cannot be taken. I have revoked your permission. You should know that you must return all the items now!"

"No! You already gave them to me!" Ebe shouted in defiance of the king's concubine. "Gerome, that's right, isn't it? They were given to me by Eleonora. Why would she take them back?" Ebe Damanda yelled at Gerome instead of apologizing to Eleonora.

"Calm down, Ebe, she's just upset about something!" Gerome told Ebe in a soft voice.

She coughed and then laughed out loud at the sight. Silently, she spoke to the real Eleonora and said that it seemed as if Eleonora had been blind for a long time. She should have seen how intimate the man called fiancé and the girl called friend were.

"Sorry, you guys are so funny!" she said, clearing her throat. "Then I'll say it. I'm revoking all the permissions I gave the three of you. Then whatever you took from my treasure room or dressing room must be returned immediately. Otherwise, the magic will activate and consume you! Roar!" Eleonora was trying hard to be a tiger at the moment. She laughed because it wasn't working.

"Eleonora!" Gerome shouted.

"What? You want to break off the engagement with me? Please do! I'll gladly accept!" She smiled happily. "Sebastian, are there any more of her rights that I have to revoke?" She needed to know what had been taken from her.

Sebastian, Eleonora's butler, cleared his throat first. "Lady Ebe is currently using the house you bought near the shopping district."

"Oh, then you should return that as well!" Eleonora smiled broadly.

The three people's eyes widened in shock. But she didn't care. She would not give her belongings to a human who had stabbed her in the back. She turned around and wanted to go to the dining room. After asking for all her belongings, she felt very hungry.

"Eleonora, you'll regret this!"

Eleonora's footsteps immediately stopped. "BITCH!" she shouted at Gerome, who had just threatened her. Her eyes were bulging and she was even ready to throw a few punches at Gerome's admittedly handsome face. "My only regret is that I got engaged to you. If there's a way to call it off, I'll do it! So don't talk to me about regrets! Get out, the three of you are making my appetite disappear!"

Gerome's face turned red with rage. He dragged Ebe and his mother away.

This time Eleonora made sure that the three of them went to the exit first. Only then did she go into the dining room to eat a delicious meal. The butler followed her.

"Did I do a good job, Sebastian?" Eleonora asked the butler.

"You surprised me, my lady! I still don't agree with swearing, but you did the right thing." Sebastian praised her.

She felt very happy to hear that. "Tell me, is it okay if I do something impertinent to the royal family? I mean, he could have come with soldiers to arrest me, right?" Only now did Eleonora realize who she was dealing with.

Sebastian shook his head. "Your family has a long history, lady, if only your ancestors had not refused to become emperors, then you would be the potential heir to the throne right now. It's just that your ancestors wanted to live in peace after 200 years of war."

Eleonora had just heard this. Then she would have to find out about her family history later. Otherwise people would be suspicious of her current strange behavior. "I'll think about it later. Thank you, Sebastian!"
