Letters from the palace were terrifying to Eleonara. Every letter she opened was an order to visit and it was annoying to be there. Moreover, there was no Andrew here to accompany her as a companion.
"I wish I could pretend I didn't receive it!" Eleonora said what she really wanted the most.
And Demian, who heard her, could only smile. After all, he also felt the same way actually.
"You'd better open it first, Lady! The connections obtained in the palace cannot be compared. I'm just as scared as you are, though." Demian laughed after saying what was in his head.
Eleonora picked up the letter-opening knife. With one motion she managed to take the letter out of the envelope. Her brow furrowed as she read the contents of the letter. She threw the letter angrily onto the table.
"He invited me to dinner!" Eleonora said to Demian.
Demian couldn't help but laugh. "May I read the contents too, Lady?"
