Chapter 56 - The Kid (1)

There were no interruptions during the following days of Eleonora's journey. In the beginning, she was still alarmed by Effie's first attack. As a result, she would suddenly wake up in the middle of the night just to make sure that Effie's black shadow was not on the ceiling of the carriage at all. She even went outside to make sure no one was awake out there. 

Her maids became worried because of Eleonora's sleeping problems. However, it really didn't take long at all. After finding out that there would be no attacks during the night, Eleonora's sleep returned to normal. 

"The air is getting warmer." Eleonora said so as she opened the small glass window on the carriage. The forests that previously seemed to be chasing them behind had disappeared, replaced with grasslands. 

Bianca and Aisha opened the carriage window in the other direction and recognized the same thing as Eleonora.
