The servants of the Berdine residence waited outside as if welcoming an important guest. Eleonora really didn't understand what had gone wrong in her letter for it to turn out like this. She was sure that she had conveyed her wish to visit.
"Looks like it's going to be difficult!" Eleonora looked out through the carriage window. Prince Gerome had already got off, but he seemed to have repeatedly turned his head in the direction of the carriage Eleonora was riding in. "He must have told his beloved mother that I came with you!" Eleonora said.
Andrew touched the back of Eleonora's hand, letting her know that he was by her side. And Eleonora was pleased with Andrew's gesture.
"Ready to go down?" asked Andrew. "If not, we can stay here a little longer. I don't mind at all!" Andrew assured Eleonora that he would never leave her.
