Episode 6
"As Fex's sword flashed towards Arthur, his opponent, Zeph, unexpectedly spun around to face the interruptor, his eyes blazing with fury."
Zeph: You dare to interrupt? " Zeph snarled, charging towards the newcomer. The interruptor, caught off guard, stumbled backwards as Zeph unleashed a flurry of swift strikes. Arthur, seizing the opportunity, regained his footing and joined the battle, his sword clashing with Zeph's as they fought in tandem against the surprise attacker. The air was electric with tension as the three combatants exchanged blows, their movements a blur of steel and sweat. The interruptor, named Fex, parried Zeph's attacks with impressive skill, but Arthur's simultaneous assault pushed them back. Fex's eyes darted between their foes, searching for an opening. Zeph managed to land a lucky blow, sending Fex stumbling into Arthur's path, Arthur raised his sword to finish Fex off, that's when Fex surrendered and he was taken off from the grounds to get his injuries treated. This left Arthur and Zeph to continue their battle from where they left off."
"So Zeph, Arthur's opponent, is resentful because he feels overshadowed by Arthur's good looks. He sees Arthur as a rival, not just in combat, but also in attractiveness."
Zeph:(His eyes narrow, his voice laced with disdain.) You think you're so perfect with your chiseled face and piercing eyes? News flash Arthur, beauty is not just about physical appearance.
Arthur:(Taken aback by Zeph's hostility, raises an eyebrow.) I never thought that's what this was about. I am just here to fight because of this event.
Zeph:(Sneers) Fight? You think you can even touch me? I will show you what a real warrior looks like.
"Zeph charges at Arthur, his sword flashing in the light. Arthur draws his own sword, their blades clashing in a flurry of strikes. The battle is intense, with Zeph's resentment fueling his attacks. As they fight, Arthur realizes that Zeph's animosity goes beyond mere rivalry. He's driven by a deep sense of insecurity, one that Arthur unwittingly perpetuates with his very presence."
Arthur: (Tries to diffuse the situation ), Zeph, stop! This isn't about who's prettier, it's about...
Zeph : (Interrupts, his voice dripping with venom) You think you are so much better than me? That everyone fawns over you because of your looks?
Arthur: (His eyes widen in understanding) No, Zeph, that's not...
"But Zeph's anger consumes him, and he launches a vicious attack. Arthur parries the blows with a little bit of difficulty, trying to reach the simmering anger beneath Zeph's surface."
Arthur: Zeph why aren't you listening? What's wrong with you? Fine If you won't see reason, I will just have to beat some sense into you.
Zeph: Beat me? (Laughs ) you think you can beat me? Fine let's see you try.
"Zeph launches another strike with his sword. He slashed at Arthur diagonally but Arthur countered his attack and also gave him a kick to his leg. This type of kick would have broken a normal Hunan's bones into pieces, but of course a vampire is more resilient than a human so Zeph withheld. In retaliation to Arthur's kick, Zeph angrily swung his blade skillfully to finish Arthur once and for all."
Arthur's POV
Crap! Why is Zeph so angry about a petty issue? And to top it off, he's very skillful with the sword. What should I have expected from a descendant of the House Of Khaos. Anyway why am I trying so hard to win? I never wanted to participate, so let's just this over and done with shall we?. I charged forward, my sword flashing in the moonlight. The crowd of vampires roared, their voices echoing off the castle walls. Zeph sneered, his eyes gleaming with a fierce intensity. Our blades clashed, sending shockwaves all over, the sound of steel on steel ringing out across the battlefield. Our swords danced, each blow aimed at the other's heart. I struck hard, but Zeph parried, his counterattack swift and deadly. I dodged, my heart racing which was a rarity for vampires, as the crowd gasped In unison. The air was thick with tension, the scent of blood and sweat hanging over the battlefield.
The battle raged on, our movements lightning fast, our swords clashing in a slur of steel and sparks. I stumbled back, as Zeph's sword sliced through my guard, striking me. Pain seared through my side, but I refused to yield. I countered with a fierce attack, my sword flashing in the moonlight. Zeph parried, but I pressed my advantage, striking again and again. The crowd roared, their voices urging me on. For a moment, I had the upper hand. But Zeph's skill and strength were too great. He rallied, his sword striking mine with a force so great that it sent me stumbling back... TBC
